At BID, we craft unique & compelling brand identity systems that evoke emotion, encourage connection, and lead to conversions. We work with our clients on all three aspects of a company’s identity: brand strategy, brand visual design, and brand voice. Depending on your particular project, it could be all three or just one of these categories. At BID, we have a multi-channel holistic approach to branding.

Through competitive market analysis we will break down the core essence of your business and create a game plan strategy to effectively communicate your story in a way that makes people care.

We work with our clients to articulate their visual identity, logo design, brand imagery and custom iconography.

1. research

First, we send a marketing questionnaire to help us get to know your company, competitors, and market segment. This information allows us to better understand the environment and target audience the brand would serve. Ultimately this will help us clearly and creatively define your company’s value proposition.

2. brainstorm

We explore several concepts to narrow down ideas. We create example moodboards to help showcase these ideas. The brainstorm phase is what translates brand values into practical solutions. It’s a critical step to exploring what makes your brand unique.

 

3. design

We narrow down ideas from the brainstorm phase to one core design. We create real world mockups to help illustrate the design and how it could be implemented across several marketing channels. Depending on your specifics it could be examples for website design, print ads or social media.

  • Impactful– Ideas needs to make an impact. Your brand is a part of the world; what impact will it have on it.
  • Emotional –You need to make emotional connections with your customers; more precisely, your customers need to make emotional connections with your brand.
  • Actionable –Is your big idea something you can actually do something with? Can you market it? Can you convey it easily and convincingly?

 

4. Launch

Once the brand design is approved, we create elements based on that new Brand Identity System. We sort out what file formats and other iterations will be needed depending on your particular project parameters.

  • Usually vector based High res jpegs, EPS, AI as well as pdf files are delivered.

We will create a Branding Style Guide (see below for information specifics)  

  • A brand style guide takes the heart and soul of your brand—your mission, vision and values—and translates it into design. It also tells everyone exactly how to communicate your brand.

  • 3D realistic brand example mockups. Depending on the specific project, we will show you how to apply your brand to several brand examples:  either a website landing page, packaging, social media, shopping bags or  stationary. This really is the key to showing your brand in real-life examples. Each Banding package comes with at least five mockups. Again, this is another reason our brands look so much more impressive than a typical brand look, and our clients are thrilled.
  • Standard Brand Style Guide. Brand guidelines and examples of using colors, fonts and logo on different assets.

¹   Newly acquired stock images and vector elements used in the designs are purchased with a standard license through Adobe Stock or similar stock sites. In some cases, additional extended licenses may be required, such as elements used in designs for resale items. These extended licenses are not included in the Project price and are the sole responsibility of the client. Any fonts that require licensing are the sole responsibility of the client.
